KETO KEEMA CURRY CHAFFLE – Low Carb, Gluten Free
Chaffle with easy-to-make Keema Curry, anyone?
I love curry. Japanese curry is usually thickened with white flour and the roux is usually loaded with yucky stuff… So I usually make my own curry, which is now only available in my cookbook because I deleted all the recipes due to the blog shutdown. This time, however, I needed to make curry with less liquid to go well with Chaffles! So, I decided to make an easy version of Keema Curry. And I like a combination of curry and cheese, so I sprinkled Parmesan cheese on top, but you can top with sour cream, yogurt, or something else of your choice!
Because of curry powder, cooked Chaffles may have burnt black spots like this ↓ (or maybe it’s just my mini waffle maker…) If you don’t like that, you can simply cook your Chaffles without adding keema curry and use it all for placing on top of your Chaffles.
I think it’s enough Chaffle recipes from me 😅, so this may be the last recipe before the blog shutdown unless I come up with something unique. I had such a fun 🙂 creating all these Chaffle recipes. I know that most people who have been following me prefer creative dessert recipes, but I felt like making at least one simple savory Chaffle recipe… And…, although everybody’s taste buds and likes are different, I believe my dessert Chaffle recipes are the best and most creative among all the other people’s. I don’t usually say this kind of thing because I don’t want to be a snob and everyone is totally different, but I felt that way this time, a little bit… Or I should just say I did a pretty good job in such a short time… because… who decides which is the best? Everyone is totally different. I’m saying all these things now because the blog shutdown is really around the corner… (This month or next month? I don’t know yet…)
Anyway, Dash Mini Waffle Makers are finally available now Amazon.com?, but it depends on which colour you want. (Mine is a Japanese mini waffle maker that I got from Amazon Japan in case you are wondering…)

🥞 Recipe Index 🥞
Keto Keema Curry Chaffle / Low Carb / Gluten Free
- 3 oz (85 g) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 Eggs Room Temp
- 3 tbsp Almond Flour
- 1/2 tsp Aluminum Free Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 10.5 oz (300 g) Ground Meat (I used half beef half pork)
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder (Can use grated fresh garlic)
- 1/4 tsp Ginger Powder (Can use grated fresh ginger)
- 1/2 cup (120 cc) Tomato Puree
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp Curry Powder
- 4 tsp Finely Grated Parmesan Cheese
(Watch the video up in the post if necessary.) In a frying pan, cook the avocado oil over medium high heat.
Add the meat and cook until browned.
Add the salt, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Stir.
Add the tomato puree and Worcestershire sauce. Stir.
Add the curry powder and stir well. Then simmer 6 - 10 minutes over low heat.
Chaffles (Makes 4 Chaffles)
Preheat your mini waffle maker.
In a small mixing bowl, combine together all the ingredients except for the cheese.
When the waffle maker is ready, sprinkle 1/8 of the cheese and let melt.
(You may need to work a bit fast.) Pour 1/4 of the batter on top of the melted cheese. Spread 2 teaspoons of the keema curry and then sprinkle the same amount of cheese. Close the lid and cook 4 minutes.
Remove with tongs.
Repeat with the remaining until you have 4 Chaffles.
Place the remaining keema curry evenly on top of each Chaffle. (Reheat your keema curry if desired.)
Sprinkle one teaspoon of the Parmesan cheese on each (or any topping of your choice).
You can of course eat this keema curry with fried cauliflower rice, not necessarily with Chaffles.
Because of curry powder, cooked Chaffles may have burnt black spots (or maybe it's just my mini waffle maker...). If you don't like that, you can simply cook your Chaffles without adding keema curry and use it all for placing on top of your Chaffles.
