CHILLED AVOCADO SOUP – Keto, Low Carb, Gluten Free

It’s getting hotter and hotter every day here in Osaka, Japan, so I wanted something cold and delicious! This Avocado Soup is so rich and creamy that you will love it! I won’t say this soup is light enough for the coming summer because of the avocado’s (good) fat and heavy cream, but it will be easy to make and eat if you don’t really feel like eating a big meal due to the heat getting to you.

I topped the soup with yogurt and paprika simply because I wanted to add color. It looks great, doesn’t it? 🙂

Chilled Avocado Soup / Keto / Low Carb / Gluten Free

  • 1 Avocado (Cut into chunks)
  • 3/4 cup Heavy Cream or Whipping Cream (180 cc)
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt (Adjust)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Water (60 cc) (or more if you don't want the soup thick)


  • 2 tsp Greek Yogurt
  • A pinch Paprika


  1. Combine the avocado, 1/2 of the heavy cream and salt in a blender and process until smooth.

  2. Add the remaining of the heavy cream, lemon juice and water and process well.

  3. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or until chilled. Pour the soup into serving bowls.

  4. Top each serving with the yogurt and paprika.
